A licensed CPA in Washington State and an enrolled agent with the IRS, Kanwar brings extensive experience from his career in India, where he progressed to Chief Financial Officer of a publicly listed conglomerate. He leverages this deep expertise to provide tailored financial and advisory solutions to clients.

At 38 years old, while his career was at its peak, he made the tough decision to relocate his family to the USA and start afresh. This opportunity led him to combine his accounting and finance knowledge with entrepreneurship to start Nitax Services, Inc., now Unity Business Advisors.

He began the business with one client and, through his hard work and success, has watched it blossom into a mid-size CPA firm that prides itself in providing sound, ethical business, accounting and tax advice to a vast array of small business and individual clients.

Over the years, he has assisted his community by actively being involved with all of his clients and has helped them grow their portfolios and net worth through strategic business and tax planning.

Outside of work, Kanwar enjoys spending quality time with his wife and family, including his four young grandchildren, whom he loves very much. He enjoys traveling and relaxing at Lake Cavanaugh, and his hobbies include playing tennis, watching sports, yoga and learning about the financial markets.
